• Blue litmus paper will turn red if dipped into a solution with pH < 7.
• Red litmus paper will turn blue if dipped into a solution with pH > 7.
• Neutral litmus paper will turn blue if dipped into a solution with pH > 7 and red if dipped into a solution with pH < 7.
